Osnovni predmet ovog rada jeste ispitivanje ključnih tekstualnolingvističkih osobina dramskog diskursa Ljubomira Simovića u njegovim četirma dramama.Međutim, dramski tekst se kao podstil književnoumetničkog stila odlikuje dijalogičnošću, odnosno najvišim stepenom konverzacije, pa se samim tim neminovno nameće i ispitivanje pragmatičkih aspekata dramskog diskursa. Cilj ovoga istraživanja jeste da se pomoću metoda deskripcije, analize i na kraju sinteze, osvetli sa lingvističkog stanovišta ovaj književnoumetnički žanr, nepravedno zapostavljen među ostalim žanrovima. Kao posebni ciljevi mogu se izdvojiti utvrđivanje stilističke, pragmatičke i verbatološke uloge kohezivnih sredstava u olakšavanju recepcije teksta, sa posebnim osvrtom na figure ponavljanja kada su u službi (a) isticanja određenih delova teksta, (b) žanrovskog dokazivanjadominacije tzv. dijaloga konflikta, (v) utvrđivanja stepena odstupanja od principa tzv. ekvivalentne kooperativnosti, (g) identifikovanja i opisivanjaintertekstualnih elemenata iz narodne poezije, i, s tim u vezi, (d) određivanja komunikativne dominante kao socijalno determinisane moći, obeležene rodnom (ne)ravnopravnošću.Doktorska disertacija sadrži devet poglavlja. U prvom, uvodnom poglavlju, nalaze se predmet i zadaci istaživanja, ali i postavljene hipoteze i metodologija istraživanja. Drugo poglavlje čini teorijsko definisanje osnovnih pojmova, kojeuključuje predstavljanje razvoja tekstualne lingvistike uz pregled srbističke i hrvatske literature o tekstu, a na samom kraju ovog poglavlja date su definicije ključnih pojmova: tekst, kontekst, diskurs – onako kako su ih razumeli eminentnilingvisti, i kao su zabeleženi u relevantnim lingvističkim rečnicima. Na ovu pomenutu teorijsku podlogu rada, nadovezuje se metodološki i terminološki značajno i pregled tekstualnolingvističkih radova o drami kao žanru.Narednih pet poglavlja posvećeno je ispitivanju kompozicije teksta drame,njegove stilističke i iskazne strukture, a u trećem poglavlju se posebno razmatra tematska struktura i motivski kompleksi koji izgrađuju fabulu drame i njen smisao.Na ovome mestu otvara se rasprava o naslovima, makrotemama i mikrotemama, kao i o tematskoj progresiji. Četvrto poglavlje predstavlja analizu dominantnih kohezivnih mehanizama u izabranom korpusu, dok peto obrađuje strukturu dijaloga i monologa u četirma dramama Ljubomira Simovića. U šestom poglavlju analiziraju se didaskalije u dramama, a u sedmom poglavlju intertekstualnost, tj. intertekstualni elementi pozajmljeni iz narodne poezije. Osmo poglavlje čini analiza pomenutih drama s pragmatičkog aspekata, tj. i sa lingvističkih i komunikativnih pozicija opisajezičkih funkcija, govornih činova, načela kooperativnosti, strategija učtivosti i odnosa moći u dijalogu. Deveto poglavlje čini Zaključak o integrativnim i kumulativnim rezultatima analitičko-istraživačkog i teorijsko-metodološkog postupka.

The main subject matter of this paper is the investigation of crucial textual and linguistic features of the dramatic discourse in the four plays written by Ljubomir Simović. However, the dramatic text as the substyle of the literary and artistic style is characterized by dialogicity, i.e. the highest level of conversation, therefore the issue of examining pragmatic aspects of the dramatic discourse is also inevitably imposed.The objective of the research was to analyze this literary and artistic genre from the linguistic aspect by means of the methods of description, analysis and synthesis, which has been unfairly neglected among other genres.Particular objectives were to determine stylistic, pragmatic and verbatological role of cohesive devices for facilitating the reception of the text, with special emphasis on the stylistic devices of repetition when they are used for (a) highlighting certain parts of the text, (b) genre establishing of the domination of the so-called dialogue of conflict, (c) determining the level of the retreat from the principle of the so-called equivalent cooperativity, (d) identification and description of the intertextual elements from the folk poetry, and, accordingly, for (e) determining the communicative dominant as the socially determined power, marked by gender (in)equality.This PhD thesis consists of nine chapters. The first one, introduction, comprises the research subject and tasks, as well as hypotheses and research methodology. The second one provides theoretical defining of the main concepts, then introduces the development of textual linguistics and, finally, provides the review of Serbian and Croatian references concerning the text, while at the very ending of this chapter there are definitions of the crucial concepts such as: text, context, discourse – the way eminent linguists considered them, and how they were recorded in relevant linguistic dictionaries. In addition, the already mentioned theoretical basis of the paper is methodologically and terminologically followed by the review of the textual and linguistic papers that consider drama as a genre.The following five chapters examine the composition of the dramatic text, its stylistic and statement structure, while in the third chapter thematic structure and motif complexes of the drama plot and its sense are particularly considered. Moreover, there is the discussion of the titles, macro topics and micro topics, as well as of the thematic progression. The fourth chapter provides the analysis of dominant cohesive mechanisms in the selected corpus, while the fifth one considers the structure of the dialogues and monologues in the four plays written by Ljubomir Simović. Then, stage directions are analyzed in the sixth chapter, while intertextuality, i.e. intertextual elements that are borrowed from the folk poetry, are analyzed in the seventh one. The eighth chapter refers to the analysis of the previously mentioned plays from the pragmatic aspect, i.e. from the linguistic and communicative positions of the description of linguistic functions, speech acts, the principle of cooperativity, strategies of politeness and the power relationships in the dialogue.The ninth chapter is the Conclusion regarding the integrative and cumulative results of the analytical-research and theoretical-methodological procedure.
