U disertaciji je prezentovan model za unapređenje procesa laboratorijskih vežbizasnovan na razvoju i implementaciji modularnih laboratorijskih setova, sa ciljem dase, uz postizanje maksimalnih tehno-ekonomskih efekata, studentima omogućisamostalan istraživački rad, od nivoa dokaza osnovnih fizičkih zakona do nivoarešavanja složenih teorijskih, eksperimentalnih, istraživačkih i inženjerskihproblema. Razvoju modela prethode analiza jačine i strukture veze izmeđukvantitativnih pokazatelja ulaznog znanja i drugih uticajnih parametara i analizazahteva zainteresovanih strana koji se odnose na proces laboratorijskih vežbi. Naosnovu teorijskog koncepta modularnog seta, tehničko rešenje je bazirano nastandardnim aluminijumskim profilima sa velikim brojem tehnoloških baza, kojepreko elemenata rastavljivih veza omogućavaju implementaciju velikog brojastandardnih mašinskih elemenata i formiranje funkcionalnih celina. Postizanjemrekonfigurabilnosti radnog prostora ostvarena je i modularnost u širem smislu.Budući da značajan aspekt u kreiranju potpune podrške laboratorijskim vežbamapredstavlja sistem za akviziciju, prikaz i čuvanje rezultata laboratorijskih merenja,razvijena je višeslojna veb aplikacija, čijom primenom su maksimizirane prednostikoje pruža veb okruženje, uključujući stvaranje uslova za kreiranje individualnihputanja učenja. Na osnovu statističke analize rezultata procene ishoda učenja, u radusu razmatrani efekti implementacije modularnih setova u program laboratorijskihvežbi.

The dissertation presented a model for improving the process of laboratory exercises based onthe development and implementation of modular laboratory sets, with the aim of enablingstudents to conduct research independently, from the level of prooving the fundamentalphysical laws to the level of solving complex theoretical, experimental, research andengineering problems, while achieving maximum techno-economic effects. The developmentof the model is preceded by an analysis of the strength and structure of the connection betweenquantitative indicators of input knowledge and other influential parameters, as well as ananalysis of the requirements of interested parties related to the process of laboratory exercises.Based on the theoretical concept of the modular set, the technical solution is based on standardaluminium profiles with a large number of technological bases, which, through elements ofdetachable connections, enable the implementation of a large number of standard machineelements and the formation of functional units. In a broader sense, modularity was also achievedbased on the re-confirmability of workstations. As a significant aspect in the creation ofcomplete support for laboratory exercises is the system for the acquisition, display and storageof the results of laboratory measurements, a multi-layered web application was developed,which maximised the advantages provided by the web environment, including the conditionsfor the creation of personalized learning paths. Based on the statistical analysis of learningoutcomes assessment results, the effects of the implementation of modular sets in the programof laboratory exercises were discussed in the paper.
