Description (srp)

Korpus kojim je određenoistraživanje obuhvata izdvojena dela sledećih autora: Veljka Milićevića, MilutinaUskokovića, Vladislava Petkovića-Disa, Miloša Crnjanskog, Ive Andrića, DanilaKiša i Borislava Pekića. Takođe, korpusom su obuhvaćeni diferentni žanrovskioblici: proza (roman i pripovetka), poezija i drama.Ključne reči: melanholija, moderna, avangarda, modernizam, postmodernizam.

Description (eng)

The work Melancholy in Serbian literature of the 20th century deals with thechronological and comparative analysis of melancholically condition in the selected corps ofSerbian literature of the 20th century, starting from modern to post-modern. Melancholy, presented as a distinctive clinical disease, is an insufficiently explored field within aliterature-theoretical plan. The existing philosophical and scientific thought regarding theproblem of melancholy draws an interdisciplinary system through which is possible semanticdiverging and recognizing of frequent, matching, or, those akin codes of melancholy. Ifliterature-critical considerations give an advantage to a notion such as: doldrums, decadence, physical distress, depression and so on, in such case melancholy inscribes itself as a complexproblem, which spreads semiotic codes in the fields of medicine, psychoanalysis, architectureand painting. The beginnings of civilizations are inscribed in the field of negativity togetherwith different causal-consequential connections which allows tracing of melancholy from thesign of transcendence to the society-political and historical moments, which breed anddispatch collectives and individuals.Theoretical contributions to melancholy presumeenrichment of the semiotic field in which melancholy substitutes explicitly and implicitly, which further acknowledges the possibility of unreading of melancholiccode within adiscourse without putting the notion of melancholy in the spotlight. The seizing of differentpsychophysical factors and the relation of individual/world and individual/self moldmelancholy to be a semantically lavish system, open for other disciplines, which it faces in thesame and/or similar meaning center. In such a way it is possible to reevaluate cultural order inthe wider context, while melancholy is being connected with the similar disciplines thatreevaluate subjectual placement of the self position, in the circumstances where a givensubject in a different manner constitutes as a separate, torn away specimen. The merging ofliterary text of Serbian literature of the 20th century and nonliteral factors make it possible tolook down on melancholy as a feeling of a subject and as a manner which does (not) acceptsgiven reality. The route of exploring and the method of comparison have finally lead to thereevaluation of subject in contrast to self, therefore psychophysical dissonance is created andmanifested in the same subject. In that sense, Serbian literature of the 20th century is a fertileground for the research of not only decadence, but also the cases in which there isn't solelydebated about war, interwar and postwar depression, but also about the unique condition ofthe subjects' minds which is inscribed in the melancholy. Subject in such a manner becomesacquisition of extra textual, unsaid which reeds in a way in which the subject of the20th century is constituted and in a way in which it is, as such, positioned in the society, culture, history. Corpus in which the research is predefined do encompasses the works of thefollowing authors: Veljko Milićević, Milutin Uskoković, Vladislav Petković-Dis, MilošCrnjanski, Ivo Andrić, Danilo Kiš i Borislav Pekić. Likewise, corpus encompasses thedifferent kinds of genres: prose (novel and short story), poetry and drama.
